If you are part of a Student Information System (SIS) integration, any SIS-related data provided to Emergent 3 is accessible only during an active emergency event. This limited access is strictly for the purpose of supporting emergency response.
Because SIS data is accessed exclusively under emergency conditions, this use falls under the FERPA emergency exception, allowing authorized personnel to access necessary information without violating student privacy protections.
Outside of an active emergency, SIS data is accessible only to administrators and authorized users, and remains safeguarded and protected under all applicable privacy and security standards.
